I highly recommend this park for ages eight and younger or for older kids that are not thrill seekers! We can assure parents that a mixed family of ages like ours  (4, 12 &amp; 14 years) can all love this amusement park together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2023 Operating Calendar<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">Story Land opens in the summer and early Fall seasons and so this best mom-to-mom blog is to give you the heads up to plan at leisure while we wait for them to open on May 20th. It&#8217;s a venue for your Bucket List of places to visit. Although dates and hours are subject to change without notice here are the published details:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">Preview Day: May 20th, 9:30AM &#8211; 3PM<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">Summer Season: May 27th -May 29th and June 3rd &#8211; September 4th. 9:30AM &#8211; 5PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">Fall Weekends (Saturdays and Sundays only): September 7th &#8211; October 8th. 9:30AM-5PM. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">2023 Season Passes are now on sale at https:\/\/www.storylandnh.com<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Tips and Tricks<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">Here is the inside scoop for this theme park!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Motion sickness warning! A lot of the smaller rides spin in smaller circles, leaving some bellies feeling icky.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>While Story Land does not allow \u201ccoolers\u201d, we always pack a soft-sided insulated bag full of drinks and snacks.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Purchase tickets online to get the best deal!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Story Land offers a Medical Access Pass for those who are unable to stand in lines.&nbsp; In addition, they have a calming room and quiet dining area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Our Favorite Play Areas<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">Make sure not to skip our recommended themed play areas.&nbsp; These are great places for parents to relax and enjoy the fun without waiting in lines:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Grandfather Tree Playground is on the right as you enter.&nbsp; This area has children climbing up the middle of the tree with fun slides coming down.&nbsp; Make sure to wait to hear him talk!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Little Dreamers Nursery Rhyme Play Area<strong> <\/strong>is a must-see for your younger children.&nbsp; This courtyard includes an oversized pie, shoes with buckles, and many other attractions from your favorite stories.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oceans of Fun Sprayground makes water play especially fun with a yellow submarine and ocean- themed splash pad.&nbsp; Make sure to pack bathing suits and water shoes for this attraction!&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We have spent hours and hours in the Loopy Lab Play Area.&nbsp; This is the best foam ball play area with ball shooters and ball vacuums galore.&nbsp; Kids immediately run in to experiment with all the fun air contraptions!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Must-Ride Thrill Attractions!<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Polar Coaster is one of the best small roller coasters I have ever been on.&nbsp; My older boys agree, always choosing to visit this attraction several times during our stay.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Roar-O-Saurus is a ride that this mom always sits out on!&nbsp; The wooden roller coaster is a bit too bumpy for my taste, but my older kids love it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Best Places to Cool Down!<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">These attractions offer the perfect way to cool down on a hot day:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Dr. Geyser&#8217;s Remarkable Raft Ride is a tamer water ride that&nbsp; allows families of six or less to sit together in a round river raft type of float.&nbsp; You take a trip along the mystical rivers where you get sprayed and misted.&nbsp; Some will leave soaked while others won\u2019t get wet at all!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Splash Battle: Pharaoh&#8217;s Reign is our favorite water ride. This ride floats along a track and is equipped with water cannons on the boat and on land that battle each other.&nbsp; We always leave soaked and happy.&nbsp; Kids who do not like water in their faces should skip this one!&nbsp; You never know who will be blasting you and some strangers can be relentless.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bamboo Chutes is a fun introduction to a log flume ride with a mild drop at the end.&nbsp; While the thrill level is not high, it is still a favorite amongst our older kids.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\">Story Land has featured before on our Kids Friendly Venues Blogs here on our Momstribute.com website.
